Giving Day is a significant annual fundraising event organized by INSEAD. A key component of their fundraising strategy revolves around garnering active participation and support from their alumni community, both as donors and advocates for the school. To effectively engage alumni and equip them with the necessary resources to advocate for INSEAD, a secure platform was needed for the distribution and tracking of a comprehensive toolkit.
To address this requirement, I was entrusted with the task of creating a self-service portal that would enable the marketing team to expose, explain, and distribute essential communications assets to a select network of influential alumni. The portal was built on Wordpress using the Divi Site Builder Plugin, offering a user-friendly interface for content management and distribution. Integration with their OAuth service ensured secure access for alumni, guaranteeing the protection of sensitive information and files.
This project was delivered during my initial internship at INSEAD, and its successful implementation proved to be instrumental in my subsequent recruitment a couple of years later. The portal played a vital role in enhancing alumni engagement, enabling effective communication, and strengthening the bond between INSEAD and its alumni network.
By providing a secure and easily accessible platform for distributing and tracking the toolkit, this project contributed to the seamless dissemination of important resources and information among alumni. The portal's success highlighted the school's commitment to empowering and leveraging the support of its alumni community in their fundraising initiatives.
Overall, this project showcased my ability to design and implement a valuable solution that addressed the specific needs of INSEAD's fundraising campaign. The creation of the self-service portal demonstrated my technical expertise, commitment to achieving success, and laid the groundwork for future collaborations with INSEAD.
