The Challenge

The 2Wheel4Purpose campaign has an incredible, compelling story: a 7,000-kilometer cycle across Europe to raise funds for breast cancer research. However, translating this powerful narrative into a cohesive, high-value online presence was the true hurdle. With a strict limit on budget, to ensure all funds raised went directly to the cause, the real challenge was:

  • Attracting High-Value Sponsors: Creating a polished, professional digital platform that instilled confidence and showcased the campaign's potential to major corporate partners.
  • Engaging Individual Donors: Crafting a seamless user experience (UX) and compelling copy that converted interest into donations.
  • Resource Constraints: Delivering high-quality results with limited financial resources, requiring pro bono services and maximum efficiency.

My Approach & Solution

Recognizing the campaign’s immense value, I offered pro bono services to the organization, ensuring their budget could be dedicated to fundraising for the research itself.

Working hand-in-hand with the three organizers, my key deliverables included:

  • Strategic Communications: Defining the core messaging and digital voice to appeal to both individual donors and large sponsors.
  • Website Design & Development: Building a robust, mobile-responsive website focused on clarity, accessibility, and emotional connection to the cause.
  • UX/UI Services: Designing an intuitive user experience to simplify the donation process and clearly track fundraising progress.
  • Content & Copywriting: Developing persuasive, emotionally resonant content that articulated the mission, amplified the cyclists' journey, and showcased the direct impact of donations.
  • Digital Marketing & Analytics: Implementing a foundational digital strategy and analytics framework to track campaign performance and optimize sponsor outreach.

Impact & Results

The combination of a powerful story and a professional digital presence proved highly successful, enabling the campaign to build momentum and achieve its ambitious target.

  • Supported Achievement of €1M Goal: The new platform is serving as the central hub for the campaign, alreaedy attracting and converting high-value sponsors and individual donations.
  • Enhanced Credibility: Elevated the campaign's professional image, making it an attractive partner for major corporate sponsors.
  • Maximized Resources: The delivery of comprehensive services on a pro bono basis ensured every cent of the campaign's funds went directly toward breast cancer research.
